It was calm after after the Leeds United moan-fest storm. The Beesotted crew – Billy Grant, Dave Lane and Gary Paul – hooked up with Aaron at LoveSport radio studios to discuss the Leeds match plus more.

As for that penalty … was it a penalty? We’re Brentford’s changes effective? Was Leeds’ fans reaction against the referee, the Brentford players and … well just about everything … a bit of an overreaction?

Plus we catch up with ex Bees Stephen Hunt as he reminisces of his days at Brentford

Benham Lifts The Brentford Lid In Rare Interview

As we are only too aware, a successful football club’s story usually starts and ends with how much money they spend. Typically, the bigger the wage bill, the higher you finish. It’s not a just a pub-chat theory, the numbers back it up year after year. The clubs...

What Would Make Brentford Fans Happy in 2026?

Beating Bournemouth 4–1 was the perfect way to say farewell to a year of change, but 2025 was still undoubtedly one to celebrate. There was hardly a dull moment in TW8; however, significant departures and a major reshuffle from front to back will be how it will be...

The Bee Job Question

The Great Brentford Song Scam

The Great Brentford Song Scam

For years Brentford fans have constantly been evolving the songs they employ to support their team. Scientists and historians, such as myself, rarely take an interest in such forms of tribal worship. But, after being approached by Beesotted to take a closer look at...

I was in the Navy during the War serving on H.M.S. Cairo (pictured above) when in 1942, Brentford played Portsmouth at Wembley, in the war-time F.A. Cup Final. I couldn’t attend as I was stationed in the Mediterranean around Gibraltar but my father went to the game...

Well I can see how our love-in with the Bees can separate us from opposition fans but seizing the opportunity to criticise ridicule and humiliate Leeds fans for emphasising the rearrangement chaos that SKY coverage requires and huffing over a dubious penalty does not endear Brentford to anyone with your sarcasm and superiority. By the way it would be an honest observation if you published facts not opinions such as the number of penalties awarded to each Championship club. Leeds would not be half way up the list. I as it happens have a fondness for both clubs and take the view that without opposition (even unsporting bench behaviour) there is no competition and the better the opposition the greater the kudos for achieving a result.
