Admittedly, after a year’s hard graft on the re-launched website, Beesotted being named as the FSF Blogger of the Year would have been a remarkable way to end 2013, but it just wasn’t to be. The Swiss Ramble, with their 50,000 followers on Twitter blew the rest of the field away.
In other awards Liverpool’s Luis Suarez stole the headlines once again by claiming the Player of the Year title and, in doing so, denied Beesotted’s Condorman the acclaim he deserved on the night for being able to get his entire pudding in his mouth at the same time.
Other notable achievements on the night were Billy the Bee calling Sky Sports’ Alan Parry ‘Phil’ all evening and watching Natalie Sawyers humming along to the ‘Come On You Brentford’ song that Billy played her on his phone.
Still, to have been shortlisted for an award was a proud achievement nonetheless – so thanks for the nomination and for taking the time to vote for us.
As always fun was had by all and football was the real winner.

am i the only one bored that every suarez article needs an attempt at a biting joke in its intro? i dont even like liverpool, but its cringeworthy how predictable you bloggers/ wannabe journo’s are.
Suarez has bitten players more times than I have written about his cannibalism. However he has been banned for racist abuse the same amount of times. He is one hell of a player though.
I’m more bored of people leaving anonymous comments tbh
