You’ve been consistently in and around the automatic promotion places all season. Can you maintain that form in the run-in?

Before the Stevenage game I would have said yes no problem but if they repeat that performance, it could be a scrap to make the play-offs never mind automatic promotion. The team is not as good as last season but the league is weaker so if we can avoid any rape cases, we will be there or thereabouts.

Your home form is relatively poor for a top of the table side having won only one game in the last five at home in the new year. Is the pressure from the home fans getting to the players do you think??

The club is under massive pressure to get out of this division this season. You can feel it in and out of the ground. Teams are setting up to kill the game and tame the crowd and it works. Wilson annoyingly seems to stick with the same approach game after game so hopefully he will change it for the run in

Losing to out of form Stevenage must’ve been a huge blow. What went wrong?

They took their chances we didn’t, they were up for it we weren’t, revenge for the playoff defeat!

When Brentford played you at Bramall Lane last season, that was only Uwe Rosler’s 2nd game in charge and he admits he made some mistakes. We’re much improved now. From what you saw of us at Griffin Park when we best you 2-0, how do you think you will cope with the Bees? Any Brentford players you would have in your team?

If we score 1st we will win the game Your more experienced players have to step up and win their individual battles. We are strong defensively so you won’t get many strikes on goal so it’ll come down to your strikers taking their chance(s)! I wouldn’t take any players but I would take Rosler for the pre-season tour to Germany, we are sick of Malta!

You guys seem to have a love hate relationship with Wilson because of his Sheffield Wednesday ties. Isnt that a bit harsh? How’s that all panning out?

He will always be a pig, end of!

You bought a load of players in and seemed to have had a slight wobbly patch as you bled them in. They’ve now settled. Who’s hot and who’s not?

More not than hot. We seem to attract injury prone players that never really hit it off. Barry Robson has the quality but he’s ahead of the players around him. Kitsons’ still the one to watch but he’s like Berbatov – can’t run but knows where the net is

Sheffield Wednesday came good with a late run last season. As you teeter between promotion spot and playoff place, does the latent form of Yeovil, Bournemouth, Swindon and Walsall not worry you at this stage of the season?

Everyone knows the pigs were lucky, we gave it them courtesy of Ched Evans, Swindon and Brentford seem to be getting the late goals at the moment so it could be your year. If we repeat last seasons form for our last 8 games we will go up

You always go on about “how scruffy your Sheffield neighbours area ” and you can “spot them a mile away with their not quite happening attire”. Tell us what attire United fans don to ensure they don’t take the ‘scruffy bastards from sheffield’ mantle.

It’s quite simple, Blades are Sheffield city boys and the pigs are all Dingles. Have you ever seen anyone from Barnsley who doesn’t look like a scruff!
