Brentford finished off the season on a high – beating Preston 3-0 and pipping them to 11th place in the Championship.

A topsy turvy season for The Bees who showed some signs of potential for the future with B-team graduate marcus Forss scoring a 25 yd goal. Josh DaSilva causing more problems and reinforcing his position as a valuable new addition to the squad. Canos finishing the season on a high. And Neal Maupay showing how he is the best striker in the division scoring 28 goals despite being banned for three matches and not having a match against Bolton to get the chance to up his tally.

Bees go down 1-0 after a really spirited performance… did really well against the odds and against such a great team. No shame in defeat tonight at all and every player did the red and white shirt proud. Onyeka had the best chance to score. What could have been. You Bees 🐝
