   Quality work and a very fair assessment all round. I pretty much agree with all of the above, except I’m not certain that Bonham will ever prove himself to be a keeper of a good enough standing for this level, or even a couple of divisions below. A keeper has to be the most confident player or in top 3 in the team and he is nowhere near it, mind you, nor is Button, but he’s rapidly improving. I hope time proves me wrong on Bonham but not holding out much hope.

   I also like the fact you took the adage of “if you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all” to its entity and never mentioned Proswitczh in the report. I’ll do the same then!!

   Um, what happened to Jota, who has shown himself to be an uncommonly talented midfielder who has created his own little piece of history with “that” goal, if also being slightly erratic on occasion? Where’s Tarkowski, remember the one that the Ealing Road fans chant is “Premiership” but whose had his ups and downs this season, evidence of his still young age? Where’s Button who has been the number 1 choice between the sticks, with some great shot stopping but heart stopping distribution?

   I’ll say something nice about NickP.

   I think the Derby win kick-started our season. (We were 13th before the game.)

   I think Nick’s 15 minutes of unsettling the Derby central defenders was an important factor in getting that winner.

   Jota?

   Stan Bowles went on holiday to Spain 20 odd years ago and met a beautiful Spanish lady…………why he failed to get a mention?

   Our, arguably, second best player this season with an eye for the spectacular goal
