Brentford have today been linked by the Western Gazette to young Yeovil keeper Marek Stech
The 22 year old keeper has recently been called up to the full Czech international squad and believes that he needs to play at Championship level or above to mantain his chances of international football.
Interestingly, within the same article the Gazette also mention versatile defender Luke Ayling as a target for Ipswich Town – the player has also recently been linked with a move to Brentford over the summer.
Another player to be linked with The Bees this morning on twitter is Oldham player of the season James Wesolowski. The Australian born midfielder plays in Europe with a Polish passport and his hard-working tough tackling has made him popular figure in Lancashire. He has recently been offered a new deal at Oldham and is also a reported target for Perth Glory.
Earlier in the week it was mooted by Sky Sports that Brentford were also tracking former Blackpool pair Andy Keogh and Steve Basham although this could easily have been talk generated by agents with both players out of contract.
One player who is definitely in contract talks with The Bees is striker Clayton Donaldson who has been offered improved terms to remain in TW8 when his contract expires this summer. The club yesterday showed the door, however, to four players – Shay Logan, Farid El Alagui, Scott Barron and Liam O’Brien. Beesotted would like to wish all four players the very best with their future careers.
Finally, Wycombe Wanderers are keen to sign centre back Aaron Pierre who impressed on loan recently and helped keep The Chairboys in League Two. Brentford have offered new terms to the youngster, so a fee would be due if he did decide that his future lies in Buckinghamshire.
