Brentford starts a new chapter in its history book tomorrow when Mark Warburton picks his first team as the new Bees’ manager. It will be really fascinating to see who starts against Oldham as I am sure Warburton and Rosler had different interpretations on which should be the best starting eleven.
The former Sporting Director will, undoubtedly, be aware that a more consistent side paid dividends for Rosler since the Stevenage defeat, and come three o’clock tomorrow it may be a case of business as usual, however, I get a feeling we may be about to witness an even more adventurous style of play emerging, which would certainly suit the talents within the squad
No matter what you think about the appointment of Warburton, you cannot argue that when the players arrive in the dressing room tomorrow, and while they have been preparing for the Latics’ visit, there must have been an air of familiarity rather than change. Hopefully that works in our favour.
Beesotted would like to wish Mark Warburton the best of luck – and predict he’ll get off to a convincing, winning start in the Griffin Park hot seat.
