Bees boss Uwe Rosler has named Wolves as his tip for League One success this campaign, claiming the Molineux outfit would “have to make some big mistakes to not win the league this season.”
Rosler, speaking at the Brentford fans forum on Thursday evening, has obviously been keeping a close eye on the boys from the Black Country, but as Coventry City and Sheffield United have found to their cost, a big reputation and a big history doesn’t automatically equate to big success in League One.
Personally, and despite Uwe’s comments, we think Wolves should be more worried about us than the other way around. Only time will tell though, obviously.
The full run down of what Uwe and gang said at the fans forum including views on our new players, what he thought of the a Celtic game and his ambition for Brentford to be playing teams like Seville can be found here
We are, we are! us Wolves fans are all rushing to get a rebate on our season tickets, what with the bees and their huge history in all four divisions, fa cup wins, league cup wins, european adventures not to mention the top international players they have had + to add all that their huge fan base! what chance have our “kids” got against such a massive club – scared – ARE WE FUCK! bring it on!!!
HaHaHaaa, “I think Wolves should be more worried about us than the other way around.” are you joking? okay you support Brentford but as a neutral reading this all I can do is laugh. You really should listen to Uwe. I support AC Milan, I’m from Italy and moved to england as a child and have no favorites between you two.
Reputations count for little in this Division as was the point. Uwe has a first class squad and Wolves are on the slide. Not a dig at the club, their fans or their history just reflecting the realities of 2013/14 not 1952 or whenever.
We ain’t on the slide the craps out the youngsters r in. Ull c when we slap use
Wolves fan here in peace! I always liked Uwe Rosler as a player and credit to him he seems to be following the Sir Alex Ferguson technique of playing mind games. I take his comments with a pinch of salt. Wolves are a team in transition. We have a new manager who wants to invest in youth. Most of the old guard have moved on to new pastures or in the process of leaving. Our new team consists of youngsters from our academy. Also as Wolves have found out to their dismay, new players are harder to recruit in League One because targets tend to join clubs in the Championship and you can’t really blame them. A top six finish seems more realistic. I look forward to this fixture and I’m sure The Bees will be up for the challenge.
Ha ha ha ha uwe aint wrong
Hehe we’ve got these teams scared already makes me loff wait until Griffiths and siggy get let loose in this league cor wait for the mighty wolves to take charge of this league cum on me babies
We will show every team and their fans respect and do not assume we will walk the league. Most teams in the league will think beating Wolves is a massive result and turning up complacent will result in several spankings.
But we aren’t scared of you. At all. Sorry!
Who said anything about scared? Obviously you’re nervous though! Lol
