Marcello Trotta will remain on loan at Brentford for the rest of the season after extending his loan from Fulham.
The Italian striker has impressed fans with his attacking endeavour and has an impressive return of three goals and five assists from his nine games – with Brentford remaining unbeaten since his arrival in TW8.
The 20 year old cult figure has also already attracted an Only Fools and Horses themed song from the Bees faithful :
“God Bless Trotta’s Feet,
Viva Trotta’s Feet,
C’est Magnifique – Trotta’s Feet”
Trotta was believed to have been originally unconvinced by a move to Brentford – having spent time on loan at Wycombe in League One last season he was hoping for a spell in the Championship – but The Bees strong league form has persuaded him to stay. Good lad!
