Brentford were unbeaten in 4 games. Cardiff needed to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.

It was a dour dirty first half with the game goal-less at half time. Then the second half sprung to life with a lively end to end game.

Then up pops Scott Hogan off the bench to bang two goals in. And well taken goals they were too … strong player .. and incisive.
