Brentford fans face a dilemma on Tuesday evening when former Bees midfielder Martin Rowlands is induced into the Brentford Hall of Fame.
Rowlands came to Griffin Park from Farnborough Town and soon became a firm crowd favourite. However, one unsavoury incident whilst playing for our neighbours at QPR single-handedly made badge-kissing a hate crime in the TW8 area.
As a result, his inclusion into the Hall of Fame is a contentious invitation and he could receive a slightly tepid reception when he is unveiled during the half time interval against Bolton Wanderers.
In other news, popular Talksport presenter, Adrian Durham, will be the guest of honour at the annual end of season Brentford Big Red Ball.
Beesotted
Hee hee! Mark Bircham of course will do the introduction on Tuesday in the absence of Mr Gilham…………….
ha nice one lads
Good one. There have certainly been worse. :).
Something must of happened behind the scenes before he left to join that team from Shepherds Bush for him to act that way of kissing that shambolic badge
Err! 1st April news exclusive?
I think the ginger whinger should not be invited to the big red ball as on talk talk sport he always slags off brentford. I remember him saying we should be re named to loansford fc as this was his dig at us on the amount of loan players and we would be better if we followed his Peterborough club and how they conducted themselves.
Dave Smith – what is the date? Give me strength! Doh!
season before last
That “season before last” comment just made me laugh out loud. Thank you!
