Brentford Legends Kev O’Connor and Bob Taylor were special guests at the Beesotted’s December Bees-Up at Fullers’ Brewery.
A quality night saw 80 Brentford fans thoroughly entertained with ex Bee Marcus Gayle – alongside Billy Grant and Dave Lane – embarking on an ‘in conversation with’ session with the two legends.
This was the fifth in a series of events Beesotted have hosted – with Fullers’ once again accommodating Brentford fans in stunning surroundings and being the perfect hosts – even allowing a sneak preview of a few of their forthcoming ales.
Not only did the guests enjoy a quality, friendly, London Pride & Porter-fuelled evening. But the event raised also £1k for various charities.
Joel from CALM (The Campaign Against Living Miserably) and Andy from Brentford Community Sports Trust were both on hand to give supporters more about the charities they were representing. CALM is dedicated to preventing male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK. Whereas The Trust were collecting to give their carers and extra-special Christmas party whilst also providing them with much-needed respite and support. In addition, donations also were raised for The British Legion and Fullers’ charity Shooting Star Chase Hospice.
The end of Season Bees-Up will take place on Friday May 4th in Ealing. With special guest Martin Allen lined up as well as food, drink and a plethora of entertainment, it’s set to be a tremendous evening.
