Brentford had scored 6 goals in 2 games. They were up for it. So were Ipswich. So much so, Hyam broke Alan Judge’s leg in the first minute. Cheers 🍻
Bees then took Ipswich to task. Going 3-0 up with Town down to 10 men – Hyam bring ironically sent off in the injury time he created at the end of the first half.
Ex player and manager Andy Scott sent an interested tweet. A man who has spent a lot of time on the pitch and training field and knows all the footballing tricks of the trade claimed that Hyam knew exactly what he wanted to do with that tackle – by getting the ball but also knowing he would go through the player.
