According to our Blackburn source, Alan Judge is winging his way down to Griffin Park and is expected to join his new team mates for training at Jersey Road within the next 48 hours.
The deal was as good as done a few weeks ago apparently, but then we faced some late opposition from Sheffield Utd plus a few Championship sides, who tried to scupper the move.
The 25 year old, who returned to Ewood Park in the summer after a loan spell at Notts County, has only made seven starts for Blackburn this season. He was an unused sub in Rovers’ 1-1 cup draw with Manchester City at the weekend.
With Trotta and Saville signing on ’til the end of the season today, and Chuba Akpom expected to join the team after his Arsenal Youth Cup game tonight, it is excellent news that Mark Warburton, Frank McParland and co are getting their transfer window business in nice and early so as to get the side settled for the Port Vale game at the weekend.
