Brentford’s fixtures were released this morning for the 2015/16  Championship season and most supporters eyes will have looked straight for the games against local rivals Fulham and QPR.

Relegated Rangers will bring their parachute payment infused squad to Griffin park on Saturday 31st October, FFP regulations permitting. The return trip to Loftus Road is on 12th March.

Our annual six points from Fulham should come following a festive trip to the Christmas Cottage on 12th December, whilst our hapless neighbours travel to TW8 for our final home fixture on 30th April.

Brentford kick off the season at home to fellow playoff side Ipswich Town on Saturday 8th August in what could be a stern test for Marinus Dijkhuisen’s first competitive fixture. This is followed by a trip to recently promoted Bristol City.

Beesotted love an away day and there are various eyecatching trips in the first couple of months with games at Burnley (22nd August), Leeds (12th September), Boro (15th September – a Tuesday night – cheers), and Derby (3rd October).

Brentford are again at home on Boxing Day with Brighton this year’s visitors.
