What a difference 72 hours makes. After being torn apart by a vey good Chelsea side (4-0) where Brentford quite simply didn’t really turn up, Aston Villa came to Griffin Park for the first time in 60 years and were torn apart by an absolutely rabid Brentford side to record their first victory against Villa ever (3-0).
The Beesotted crew met in the Virtual Joint pub to discuss the Bees’ contrasting fortunes over the two matches as well as reflecting on the transfer window that slammed shut a couple of hours after the Villa fail whistle that saw Hogan leave the nest for Villa for £12m and Sergi Canos join the Bees from Norwich.
Plus they discussed the forthcoming visit of Brighton – hoping for the 1st double of the season for the Bees.
