Bees Dumped Out Of Cup By Steady County – Brentford 0 Notts County 1

Spread the love

Notts County sprung a Third Round FA Cup surprise at Griffin Park – a much changed Bees side failed to live up to expectations and paid a price for a flat performance. Jon Stead had another Cup day to remember when he converted one of only a handful of chances created by the visitors, but the Bees have only got themselves to blame – several key players fell below the levels expected and failed to take their chance to shine. The silver lining on an otherwise drab afternoon was Alan Judge’s return to the first team when he came on as sub in the second half, and the debut by Emiliano Marcondes.

The Bee Job Question

Three weeks ago I had a job interview. An interview for a job I was actually quite interested in, rather than just being a way out of the harrowingly dull, underachieving job I have at the moment. I have by me now the letter that arrived today, which will tell me...

Disappointing result

We spoke to #BrentfordFC & #thfc fans straight after the match

🎶 I said to my mum, the other day, I think I’ve seen l, the new Pele, she said to me, ‘who is he?’, I said he goes by the name of Kayode! 🎶 #brentfordfc

Bees lost 2-0 but were the better team for most of that match… lacked real cutting edge or a big centre forward to maximise the amount of crosses into the area… highlights were Damsgaard again and the first glimpses of Kayode who looked great at the end COYB #BrentfordFC
