The Beesotted Pride of West London Podcast has been going for three years now. It started on a train back from Boro after a 4-0 trouncing and is now over 400 episodes deep with over 800k listens. The pre-match show is recorded in a different pub every week on Wednesday night and broadcast at 7am on Thursday morning. Whereas the post-match podcast records the views of fans after every match straight after the final whistle and is normally live 2 hours after the end of the game.

Guests have ranged from Head Coaches Dean Smith, Mark Warburton and Marinus Dijkhuizen. Director of Football Phil Giles, Chairman Cliff Crown.  Technical Director Rob Rowan. B-team head coach Kev O’Connor. Players from Clayton Donaldson to Alan Judge to Moses Odubajo to Richard Lee to Toumani Diagouraga to Sergi Canos to Romaine Sawyers. Ex players and managers from Lloyd Owusu to Terry Evans to Carl Hutchings to Martin Allen to Gary Roberts to Francis Joseph to Ijah Anderson to Joe Allon and loads more.

There are also regular interviews with away fans, podcasters and bloggers and occasionally they even come down the pub and appear on the whole show.

We’ve enjoyed producing these podcasts over the last three years. Please find below a selection of shows that have made us cry … or have made us laugh .. or both.

The Great Brentford Song Scam

The Great Brentford Song Scam

For years Brentford fans have constantly been evolving the songs they employ to support their team. Scientists and historians, such as myself, rarely take an interest in such forms of tribal worship. But, after being approached by Beesotted to take a closer look at...
