Brentford begin one of the most decisive weeks in their history – aware that Thursday’s Hounslow Council Planning Committee meeting could clinch a new stadium for the club and a brighter future.

Planning Officers have already recommended approval for the Lionel Road development, which could see the Bees leave Griffin Park for a brand new 25,000 seater stadium. But despite that positive precursor last week, fans group BIAS have reminded supporters that nothing should be taken for granted and that attending the public meeting on Thursday should remain a priority.

With vociferous opposition expected from some residents’ groups who remain opposed to the development – all those who care about a positive outcome for the football club should try and be there.

The meeting takes place this Thursday, December 5th at 7.30pm in the Lampton Park Conference Centre, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN – with big numbers expected to witness a landmark announcement.

A live WebCast is being arranged for those who cannot attend – full details to follow.
