John Terry is a doubt for Chelsea’s match against Brentford – he has recovered from a knee injury but is lacking match fitness. Terry was an unused sub in the Europa League win at Sparta Prague and Raffa Benitez has indicated that he may start with Branislav Ivanovic and Gary Cahill in central defence as Chelsea have recorded back-to-back wins for the first time since December, and have kept a clean sheet for a second time in eight games. Ashley Cole, who is recovering from a cold, was also sat the game out on the bench in Prague, but he may make a return.

Demba Ba, complete with face mask after breaking his nose recently, looks to reclaim his place, as does the Nigerian duo of Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel, after returning from African Cup of Nations duty. David Luiz could also return after being suspended against Sparta Prague.

Uwe Rosler has no concerns for the replay at the Bridge – Marcello Trotta looks to reclaim his place after being rested on the bench, then coming on to score Brentford’s second goal – a peach – against Stevenage in midweek.
