Brentford have today captured Tottenham starlet Alex Pritchard on a season long loan.

The 21 year old midfielder, capped by England at U20 level, was named Football League Young Player of the Year after a string of impressive performances for Swindon Town last season.

He was also shortlisted for the League One Player of the Season trophy but was beaten to the title by some bloke called Adam Forshaw.

A noticeable asset of Pritchard’s game is his set piece delivery – with the talented playmaker also comfortable dribbling forward with the ball.

His loan deal with The Bees includes a break clause in January.
