The big six pointer has arrived. After being snowed off in March, Sheffield United finally meet Brentford on Tuesday night with the winner of the game making huge strides towards automatic promotion.

After notching a win against Swindon Town at the weekend, Sheffield United caretaker manager Chris Morgan will probably stick with the same side against Brentford on Tuesday evening with Kitson and Porter having both scored

Mark Howard, Lescinel Jean-Francois, Diego De Girolamo and Shaun Miller are still injured and won’t feature for United

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler aware of Brentford’s heavy end-of-season run-in may rotate the side once again to save weary legs. Jonathan Douglas has been playing with a slight knock in the last few games but may still feature.

Harry Forrester has been sidelined with a groin injury but is due back imminently. Tom Adeyemi, who didn’t play against Portsmouth, is set for a possible return. Keeper Richard Lee and Scott Barron are out for the season.

BillytheBee talks to ‘slightly more upbeat than this time last week’ Sheffield United fans Georgia, Bram and Jamie Scruff on their vibes for the match.

Well that’s been a right whirlwind these last few weeks since we were last meant to meet. How are the fans feeling about everything?

Georgia and Bram: We’re feeling great now. The pig’s (Wilson) gone and we’ve made the play offs at least so the gloom has lifted and everyone is up for the next few games. If we miss out on automatic, at least there’s the playoffs. If we fail in the playoffs, I can guarantee you that the 3rd season in Div 1 will be our last. With a new manager and youngsters now coming through, the future is red & white.

We’ve heard you have been giving away free tickets. What’s that all about?

Jamie Scruff: News to me…saying that, we do deals when small clubs visit

Georgia and Bram: We lost 5000 through the gate when ex Wednesday Wilson was appointed. The free tickets are SUFC’s way of saying to those fans we got it wrong

What’s been going wrong the last few months?

Georgia and Bram: Wilson lost the changing room. His tactics were to go out and not lose rather than playing to win which was fine away but just wasn’t working at home

Jamie Scruff: No bottle. Wilson played home games like they were away

What’s been going right? What can we expect Tuesday? Who’s hot? Who’s not?

Georgia and Bram: Since Wilson left everything’s gone right (ed – calm down. Its been one game guys) so hopefully the honeymoon will continue on Tuesday. Expect Utd to go for it from the whistle. If Rosler sets up for the draw it could be a painful 90 mins for Brentford fans. If he goes for the win we could be in for a thriller. Kitson’s hot then he’s not!

Jamie Scruff: Murphy’s ok….Robson not bad…all very average to be honest

OK so he managed Wednesday and your fans never really took to him but sacking Wilson two weeks before the end of the season – is that really the way forward?

Georgia and Bram: That’s the price you pay for taking the helm at SUFC. We have everything in place other than a team playing championship football as a minimum. It does look like a bit of a gamble but we are probably the only club in this league who can pull it off and those 5000 who refused to attend whilst Wilson was manager may now buy their season tickets for 2013/14 so maybe other factors were at play. Many fans believe the decision should have been made with 10 games to go not 5

Jaimie Scruff: We’ve had nothing to lose…couldn’t see us winning another game under Wilson

Is this new bloke any good?

Georgia and Bram: We signed Morgan from Barnsley! A heart on sleeve bloke and a decent centre half in the championship but a good captain so he may well make it as a manager. Maybe SUFC is a bit too big a step at this stage. No matter what happens we reckon he’ll be assistant manager next season and United will appoint another manager so watch out Rosler!

Jamie Scruff: Typical no nonsense centre half. Will give us some passion at last

Before we were due to play the snowed-off match, you were certain that the Sheffield v Brentford fixture would be the day of your automatic promotion party. Still reckon you can get the automatic spot?

Georgia and Bram: Its a long shot and the next 2 games are key. If we take 6 points we will get automatic. If not we have a great record in the play offs (4 finals, no wins and no goals!) so nothing to worry about really!

Jaimie Scruff: Now depends on others…looks doubtful. But at least we fancy play-offs now under Morgan

What do you think of Brentford? How do you think they will get on for the rest of the season?

Georgia and Bram: They were tipped by many for the top 6 and haven’t disappointed. Your away form has improved a lot from last season and you have grabbed a few points at home by scoring very late on just like the pigs did last season so maybe it’s your season. It’s probably your biggest game for years with probably your best manager in years so you are in with a decent shout

Jamie Scruff: Normally very poor away…surprising your last few away results though…make or break game for both sides on Tuesdsy

Which teams are you worried about in the top 10? Do you think there may be a fear you may even miss out on the playoffs?

Georgia and Bram: Sheffield United are our main worry! Franchise FC aka MK Dons are our bogey side so hopefully they’ll miss out on the play offs. No problem for the play-offs. You know we just love that trip to Wembley for all all the excitement of no goals and coming away with nothing – and to top it off they don’t even sell magnet ale!

Jamie Scruff: Don’t fear anyone but would like to avoid Franchise FC aka MK Dons or Yeovil

Has fashion sense come on any further with your Yorkshire rivals since the last time we spoke? Do you still believe them all to be a “bunch of Scruffs”?

Georgia and Bram: Do we really have to answer that? Just look at the footage from the pigs v dingals the other week, enough said!

Jamie Scruff: They are nearer to Barnsley dingle land than us. They look and dress like Dingles and also talk like them. Backward deluded scruffs. Also irrelevant
