Sky Sports News are reporting that George Saville has extended his loan from Chelsea to remain with Brentford for the remainder of the season.
Central midfielder Saville was reportedly also interesting former Bees boss Uwe Rosler, now at Wigan, but has decided to continue his development at Griffin Park under new Brentford boss Mark Warburton.
George is already a popular figure with Brentford supporters for his decent work rate, good close control and passing ability although he does have a bit of a penchant for a Paul Scholes-esque tackle and has picked up five yellow cards so far this season.
Reports this morning are also suggesting that The Bees are looking like favourites to retain the services of Marcello Trotta despite interest from a number of Italian sides. Alan Judge (Blackburn) and Chuba Akpom (Arsenal) are heavily touted to link up with the squad on loan as Brentford push for promotion to the Championship.
