What a cruel cruel way to not only lose a game .. But to lose out on automatic promotion. The game against Doncaster will talked about for years to come.
But Brentford fans being Brentford fans have been here too many times before. And what is incredible is our bounceback-ability. Within hours of the final whistle, the ‘Dunkirk spirit’ was riding high as fans realised how far we’ve come this season .. How close we were … And what a chance we still have as we are the best team left in the playoffs. The fans know it. The team know it. Everyone just has to believe it going into these next few games.
Uwe Rosler has a hell of a job trying to pick up this broken side over the next few days. But he can do it. And with the fans behind the team 100% (it’s a team game. There is no point in singling out players for blame at this point) they can do it. Coz as Lulu says at the end of this clip “We are going up … and you know why? …..Coz we’re super Brentford”
