Mark Warburton has made a rallying cry to Brentford fans ahead of the match against Midlesbrough tomorrow (Saturday).

Speaking on the Beesotted Pride of West London Podcast after the fans forum at Griffin Park on Thursday, Warburton urged Bees supporters to get down to Brentford early and get themselves in fine spirits for what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

For some strange reason, early kick-offs have always been somewhat of a damp squib for Bees fans atmosphere-wise. Warburton challenges Bees fans to recreate the incredible atmosphere of the Norwich and Fulham home games – both of which were played under floodlights – for a lunch time kick off.

With some Boro fans already arrived in London and others reportedly leaving at 4am Saturday morning to ensure they don’t miss a minutes drinking time – with certain Brentford pubs opening their doors at 9am – the Boro terrace is guaranteed to be lively.

With the Teesside’s also coming off the back of a tremendous victory against Manchester City, Brentford fans will have to be in their very best of voice to ensure that our friends from the North East turn the match into a one team party.

So lets all get an early night on Friday and get down the the pubs as early as possible on Saturday morning to get ourselves in celebration mode before the match.

The Globe (9am), Lord Nelson (9.30am) and Griffin (9.30am) are all open early. No doubt other pubs will be too so keep an ear out.

Come on You Bees
