Voting for goal of the season for the 2013/14 season has been closed at the end of the first day after it was deemed pointless judging any more goals from the 45 remaining weeks.

And winner by a clear mile is Shaelum Logan with his 20 yd screamer against Port Vale.

Logan is delighted with the honour but has asked if he can collect the trophy at the end of the campaign as he needs to concentrate on helping Brentford win, with all due respect, a far more important prize in 9 months time.
