Brentford versus Chelsea tickets are expected to sell out on Sunday as hundreds of hardy Bees fans brave the Arctic conditions and queue in the snow. Those fans who did not possess season tickets or Bees United/BIAS membership, but are already on the club’s database, can purchase tickets for the first time today, with the remaining 4,000 or so tickets likely to be snapped up fast.

Big numbers have descended on Griffin Park despite the snow and ice, with reports of the queue snaking round the corner of Breamar and Ealing Roads, then backing up towards the New Inn pub. People were queuing in large numbers more than two hours before the offices opened it was reported.

In recent days the club have been very organised and have been able to deploy a raffle ticket system, which has ensured fans didn’t have to stand outside in the cold – and were called forward in numbered batches when it was their turn. With greater numbers of supporters it is unlikely the same arrangement can be implemented.
