After two poor results against Huddersfield and Wolves, The Bees were off on their first visit to Burton to reignite their season in an attempt to gun for a top 10 Championship place.

And the Beesotted crew were back on tour – meeting up at the historic Lamb and Flag pub in Covent Garden – to discuss all sorts.

On the discussed menu:

-Huddersfield and Wolves’ pressing game. Will Brentford be able to find a way around teams pressing us effectively?

– Brentford signing Joe Hardy from Man City. Is this another sign of where the club is going developing players who don’t quite make it at so called bigger clubs?

– The championship manager sack race where Dean Smith is the 6th longest serving manager in the Championship – a race where Steve McClaren has been let go from Derby yet again. We ask whether Dean Smith gets fair credit for great performances and victories as he gets lambasted when Brentford play badly? We also discuss Mark Warburton’s appointment at Nottingham Forest.

– Plus we briefly mention the end of season Beesotted social (http://bit.ly/2kkqD5z) – featuring Gary Roberts .. Graham Benstead .. and a few other players not yet announced – and look ahead to the Burton game at the weekend.
