Bees Consider Controversial ‘Farewell Griffin Park’ Kit

Bees Consider Controversial ‘Farewell Griffin Park’ Kit

Brentford are believed to be in talks with new kit manufacturer Nike to design what will be seen as a controversial new multicolored home kit to commemorate the last season at Griffin Park – club officials believe there is also a technological advantage to the design – much like the seating at the new stadium.

Sanctioned by Cliff Crown, who is a leading advocate in multi-coloured stadium technology, the new shirt (he feels) will give the impression of the Bees having more players on the pitch than the opposition, and when combined with synchronized parameter advertising hoarding sequences, it will give a camouflage effect that will confuse officials when judging offside decisions.

A further benefit to the kit is that it is suitable against all shirt colours, thus providing environmental and laundry cost advantages.

The rumoured Bees kit following in the footsteps of Manchester City’s ‘mash-up’ celebration, which incorporates various elements of the club’s recent shirts – we believe the potential new Bees home kit will be on display in the club shop ahead of this weekends home game with Derby County.

Hopefully, though, you can scotch the rumour that Our Beloved Leader intends to change our name to the Goodbye Griffins for one year.

Whilst the date had everything to do with this article the idea is not without merit. Perhaps we could get Scania to sponsor the shirt which would include their emblem being a Griffin
