Glasgow giants Celtic and their colourful fans will be guests of honour on Saturday July 20th – the Scottish Premier League Champions making their first visit back to our part of West London since 1958, when the Bees won 2-0 thanks to goals from the ‘Terrible Twins’ George Francis and Jim Towers.
Brentford will also face Premiership new boys Cardiff City (who have visited far more recently) for a game under the Griffin Park floodlights on Tuesday July 30th – this is bound to be a very tough test as the Bluebirds (we should refuse to call them dragons) won the Championship at a canter this season.
The highly anticipated return trip to Germany, which has been penciled in as a ‘can’t miss’ following last year’s magnificent adventure, is rumoured to be happening in late June – which would mean a very, very early return for the players. This trip is yet to be confirmed, I would imagine firm details will be announced in the next week or so, which would allow Bees to snap up the cheap flights that are currently available.
Further details and more fixtures will be published as and when they are known.
Great to back. Looking forward to a trip down from Glasgow.
Not much of a challenge on the 20th for the bees.
A ‘Bear’ eh? ^^^^
It would be much, much less of a challenge if Brentford faced your beloved Sevco instead.
Yeah, id say your team could handle Barca no probs… 😉
We’re a champions league team Respect

The Magpie and Crown if you like real ale. The Griffin next to the ground, a Fullers pub.
Hopefully the Septic fans will stick to the irish pub (the only pub I haven’t been to)
