I think it was vitally important to get the win, however scrappy it was and I hope that’ll give us a bit more confidence next time out. We deserved it, and actually got the result unlike against Brum. Good to see that we actually had one of our 3 left backs actually on the field (no pun intended) as well. The 5 at the back only works when you have two dynamic wide men and Barbet is not that type of player, as much as I like his ability to strike a killer ball. Midfield is too lightweight still for me, not enough physicality or creativity. Sawyers frustrates as he does have ability, but he’s too in and out of a game, and for a big bloke doesn’t impose himself as much as I think he should. Vibe has lost his mojo and when I look at him it’s like watching a schoolboy in size.
I was listening to the podcast from Thursday when talk of the new Danish coach was mentioned. Now that his appointment is confirmed along with his role I’m interested on your and the other lads thoughts on having 3 people managing the first time. Do you think it could be a case of too many cooks spoiling the broth? It seems a little bizarre to me.
