The long road to recovery for Alan judge tooks to have taken a significant step forward following the player’s goal-scoring return to the B team’s starting XI at Barnet yesterday.
Judge, who has been out of action for over 18 months following a horrible leg break at Portman Road, has faced a huge struggle in a bid to resurrect his career, and Bees fans were delighted to see the popular forward back in a Bees shirt and scoring again.
Of course, the club will continue to manage one of their prize assets’ return meticulously, and nothing will be left to chance or rushed, therefore his substitution at half time in the match with Barnet was expected.
As fans, we are all itching to see Judgey back in first team action, and all being well, perhaps we could see a return to the bench early in the New Year (or earlier), and maybe an appearance against his former side, Notts County, in the Bees’ FA Cup tie at Griffin Park? Fingers crossed!
Either way, yesterday was a significant day for Alan Judge and all Bees fans will continue to support the player all the way back to full fitness.
