Of course you would love to see Wolves fans silenced. As you would if you were playing other much bigger clubs . That’s natural. It will be a giant killing for you despite the fact we are in the same division if you win…….as I have said before, this is as good as it gets for Brentford so please enjoy it.
There you go Ben, just confirming what the writer says; that Wolves fans think they have a god given right to win this league. Just like we thought we were too good to go down last year?
I’d rather be on Brentford’s shoes than ours and haven’t we been rolled over by ‘smaller’ clubs before.
Personally Ben I hate the arrogant big club attitude that the top PL clubs fans show but your comments just show that they don’t have a monopoly on it.
I did think Brentford would hit the buffers when Uwe went but fair play to you guys you have kept going and good luck (apart from Saturday that is).
Agree Jim. Much calmer feelings than usual, due to only being February, one of 16 games to go, and the quality, depth & application of squad. Loving the attacking-from-all-positions play and right-first-touch attitude. Looking forward to all 16 of them.
Are you still strangely calm Jim ? Will Wolves end Brentfords run ? Do Brentford have the edge over Wolves, man for man ? Final Score Brentford 0 Wolves 3. Thank you God !!!
0-3 Nuff said
I bet you’re hurting now! 3-0 and the Wanderers keep on rolling!
How long were you unbeaten for? It’s incredible really, given that you were trying to kick our players to the ground. Disgraceful.
Unbeaten for longer than you were… Your point is?
That over the course of the season we’ve scored more goals, conceded less and have one more point than you.
Oh dear what happened, I thought you were good.
Your fans have been disgraceful on twitter
Deal with them don’t generalise. Your fans have been great today.
“I’d love to see Brentford silence the Wolves fans, who still seem to believe that success and promotion are god given rights.”
And these kinds of comments only incite more ‘internet aggro’. Most Wolves fans have been humbled by events over the past few seasons and we’re taking nothing for granted. We’re in a good position to kick on for promotion but we’ve been through too much to think that it’s done and dusted already.
Our squad is just coming good and we look like promotion candidates but the Bees represented a very stiff test for us today. I’ve no doubt that you’ll go up automatically, you’ve been rolling teams over and have the belief to make it. As do we. Let’s all be positive, have a little (non-arrogant) belief and nix the side swipes.
See you in the championship next season.
Have to say that I didn’t see that coming however my comments about Wolves playing better away from home are vindicated despite the brentford fan who offered stats saying we would struggle. I’m surprised at Mr Warburtons inaccurate assessment on the game and how Wolves weren’t 3 goals better…..sorry me old loaf of bread, we scored 3 well worked goals that were hardly tap ins….
