If you checked out this week’s Beesotted West of London Podcast, we discussed a rather peculiar scenario that one of the Beesotted crew found himself embroiled in recently. There aren’t too many times that you can say that two Danish international football players who play for the club you support will decide to get in the kitchen and knock up a meal for you to try.
Well this is exactly what happened at the Brentford training ground as Lasse Vibe and Andreas Bjelland were involved in a cook-off (video above) in which Beesotted’s Billy Grant and Bob The Kit Man were invited to taste their wares whilst discussing the defeat of QPR and Fulham in and around one of the players nearly chopping this thumb off (red and white was everywhere).
To say this was a rather unusual scenario is an understatement. Is this football gone mad? Footballers in aprons? Surely footballers should be finding themselves on the pitch and not in the kitchen (sic).
To be fair it was all a bit of a laugh and the whole scenario really set us off on this week’s Pride of West London podcast (below) as it inspired us to discuss what other unusual situations would you like to see Brentford players make a TV show with Brentford fans about.
Suggestions included dog grooming with Ryan Woods, changing an oil filter on a Peugeot 206 with Romaine Sawyers, me and my swimming pool attendant friend with Dan Bentley and Kick Start your motorbike by Montell Moore.
Any other thoughts on unusual or compromising Brentford player TV shows, give your thoughts in the comments below.
