As the international break comes to a close, time to refocus on the league – with Brentford playing an important home match against Millwall at the weekend, desperate to get their first home win under their belts. 

We though now of all times was a good time to recap on when Beesotted caught up with Brentford Director of Football Phil Giles after the Middlesbrough match a few weeks ago and grilled him on why Brentford were struggling to pick up points. What was his view on where Brentford were at the moment. And how did he rate this current Brentford team compared to last season’s team that had Scott Hogan, Lasse Vibe and Jota scoring for fun.
