Brentford fans had mixed emotions after the final whistle at Villa Park on Wednesday evening – for much of the game the Bees fans would have gladly settled for a point. However, after hanging on in there for much of the game, Neil Maupay’s second goal on the night, then several guilt edged chances that followed, meant Dean Smith’s side could have emerged as the victors. Jonathan Kodjia’s stoppage-time header put pay to that famous win.

Here’s what the Brentford fans thought about the game.

Still, to remain unbeaten after away games at Stoke and Aston Villa is impressive and leaves us fourth in the table on eight points with four games played.
