Brentford’s Easter Monday travelling hoards will be keen to reacquaint themselves with MK Dons boss, Karl ‘with a K’ Robinson, on what has been described as ‘the most appropriate of days’.
The Franchise Boss made no friends with his confrontational behaviour following the Bees’ 3-2 win over MK in December when, at the final whistle, Robinson and his assistant made ‘offering out’ gestures to the New Road fans.
Robinson’s departure from the stadium coincided with angry scenes as home supporters vented their displeasure, and it was during a heated exchange that the Dons manager claimed a glass of beer was thrown at him.
However, the Police decided to take no action after Brentford’s Chief Executive, Mark Devlin, issued a press statement that outlined events in the Braemar Road forecourt.
We are confident that Karl will be the recipient of a large slice of West London wit on April Fool’s Day.
