Bees Dumped Out Of Cup By Steady County – Brentford 0 Notts County 1

Notts County sprung a Third Round FA Cup surprise at Griffin Park – a much changed Bees side failed to live up to expectations and paid a price for a flat performance. Jon Stead had another Cup day to remember when he converted one of only a handful of chances created by the visitors, but the Bees have only got themselves to blame – several key players fell below the levels expected and failed to take their chance to shine. The silver lining on an otherwise drab afternoon was Alan Judge’s return to the first team when he came on as sub in the second half, and the debut by Emiliano Marcondes.
