This year Brentford FC Community Sports Trust are celebrating their 30tanniversary of carrying out positive social change in West London.  To help in the work that they do, they have undertaken a series of fundraising challenges to not only raise some much-needed funds, but also to have a fitter, healthier Brentford fan-base.

So far they have completed the Prostate Cancer Cycle to Amsterdam. They also had a team of 32 cyclists taking on the Ride London Challenge. And that was all before the running commences.

The Community Sports Trust’s team for Richmond RUNFEST is complete but they have 4 places up for grabs in the Royal Parks Half Marathon. This is the first time that the Community Sports Trust has taken on the Half Marathon challenge.

This stunning central London half marathon on Sunday 8 October, takes in the capital’s world-famous landmarks on closed roads, and four of London’s eight Royal Parks – Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

All they ask is that each runner raises a minimum of ÂŁ250 through their Virgin Giving page to secure a place.  They will provide a bespoke Brentford FC CST Running Shirt for the runner to wear at the event.  The deadline for registrations is Wednesday 16 August.
