Pressure on former Bees manager Uwe Rosler seems to be mounting at Wigan after his side’s poor start to the season. Defeat at Bounemouth last weekend, which followed a midweek reverse at home to Ipswich, has lead to rumours of a ‘lost dressing room’, and some fans even suggesting that he will be dismissed before Brentford’s visit to the DW Stadium on October 18.

Reading through the threads on popular Vital Wigan message board underlines that fans are divided – and from the outside looking in – this seems a very similar situation to the post-Stevenage showdown last season while he was still with the Bees as we wrote in this article.

Rosler was a popular manager at Griffin Park and his part in the rise of our club cannot be forgotten… And, just like most former staff members and players, we hope that they go on to success after leaving Griffin Park and keep one eye on their progress, or otherwise.

I personally hope things work out for Rosler at Wigan, but you can’t deny that there seem to be some testing times ahead for him this week.
