The Bee Job Question

The Bee Job Question

Three weeks ago I had a job interview. An interview for a job I was actually quite interested in, rather than just being a way out of the harrowingly dull, underachieving job I have at the moment. I have by me now the letter that arrived today, which will tell me...

The Great Brentford Song Scam

The Great Brentford Song Scam

For years Brentford fans have constantly been evolving the songs they employ to support their team. Scientists and historians, such as myself, rarely take an interest in such forms of tribal worship. But, after being approached by Beesotted to take a closer look at...

1942 Leagues Under The Sea – John Chandler RIP

I was in the Navy during the War serving on H.M.S. Cairo (pictured above) when in 1942, Brentford played Portsmouth at Wembley, in the war-time F.A. Cup Final. I couldn’t attend as I was stationed in the Mediterranean around Gibraltar but my father went to the game...

Please don’t excuse your “own goals”, regarding drink fuelled inappropriate language, on your podcast, by making asides on my character; my character should not be speculated on, because I venture a contrary opinion to yourselves and neither should you be so hypocritical, as to bleed off the flak regarding your foul and unsporting language, regarding an opposing team, by fake “getting on your high horse “, about my reaction to same.
I don’t want to come to a pub to get drunk and talk repetitive propaganda, about how great BFC is, how great Benham is , and how I should “get over”, to kid myself, about Brentford’s non existent premiership future, Furthermore, you almost always cut-in , or disparage with mockery (as you do on your spiel here), when the “liberal” is trying to make (an often, very good) point about a game, or where the club is going.
Yes, I am bitter about the despicable treatment of Warburton and players like Douglas, by Benham. You may reflect, by some miracle, on my words, in times to come. We could have had one season of glory, in the top league, but Benham MID-season, totally undermines the manager and by default, the team, when they were in a great position to press forthe top , by doing a Trotsky job on Warburton, which demoralised all of the front line of FC, put an end to that wonderful prospect and set the scene for the avalanche of players who have moved on from such a rotten setup.

Where’s your Warburton now Boru? Sacked twice since he left Brentford. He and his team’s transfer dealings have been questioned by both his new bosses after he left Brentford. Many people believe he inherited a great team from Rosler who were playing the right way and he did a great job of guiding them to promotion. But he had a great infrastructure around him.

Brentford have gone on to find excellent players after he has left. Most of which have increased in value. Meanwhile both of Warburton’s bosses have seriously queried many of his signings (Frank McParland was fired on the quiet a week before Warburton’s sacking).

No distrepect to Warburton. He brought Brentford fans wonderful times. But your infatuation for him and hatred for the new regime is somewhat scary and warped. And is now looking also be massively misguided.

You are just a bunch of cowards. If I am a keyboard warrior, as you allege, then arrange a meet up and we will see who is the bag of wind; you lot are!
It is weaklings like you, who blow your little trumpets about “your charity”and your own feeble self – serving ego trip 1/2 marathons, that make modern life a degenerate facsimile of the brave, real men that lived fifty years ago and before , who died , fighting against the fascists, for you weakling losers.
